Founded in 1968, Ulster University is a prestigious public research university mostly situated in Northern Ireland, with campuses in Jordanstown, Coleraine, Belfast, and Magee (Derry/Londonderry). It provides a wide range of undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate programs in the social sciences, business, engineering, health sciences, and the arts, among other fields.The institution offers a wide range of distance learning options in addition to branch campuses in Birmingham and London. The university's legal name stayed the same, but in October 2014 it underwent a rebranding as Ulster University, complete with a new visual identity.
